Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand
We have been studying narratives and also looking at the story Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand. We read heaps of stories and watched plenty of movies because we had to write our own version a bit later. I was so surprised that Jesus fed five thousand people with five loaves of bread and two fish. I think it was a great miracle and I'm glad the people didn't starve.
Mary Mackillop
In Religious Education we are learning about People of Justice. We watched a movie about the life of Mary Mackillop. I believe she was a person of justice because she believed that every child should get a good education. It didn't matter if the children were rich or poor and it didn't matter what their parents did Mary took them at her school. She got into trouble from the Bishop for this but she didn't give up.
