I'm Grateful For My Life

Life is a wonderful thing, when the sun rises, the birds all sing. In the morning, a nice cup of tea should do the trick, two sugars, no chocolate which one should I pick? Mmm! yummy apple pie, now where should I lie? looking at the clouds above, ooh look I see a dove! I'm going to pick some berrys, I wonder if I'll see any faries. Getting into my thongs, I whistle a happy song. Skipping down to the beach, I delightfully munch on a fat juicy peach. Down by the crashing waves, I see some dark scary caves. Not bothering about the caves, I go back home, tap, tap my shoes go on the paves. I feel like taking a nap, purr! the kitty comes and lays on my lap. I believe there is no place like home. I'm grateful for my life and I'm glad God made the world.

Some Of The Myst Writing I Do Today

As I turn all the icons/symbals green, it does nothing. I can hear water crashing, but I can't see it. The writing in this book looks like my grandma Carmies writing. Questions fill my head I need answers. I want to record this great infomation!

Myst Writing

This is some of my first writing in Myst under ground room. My legs are weak from walking down these steap steps. I want to take my shoes off and feel the soft carpet. This biulding is so classic. Everything has paterns on them like the wall, stairs & carpet. The yellow button on the imiger glows like a star. I feel scared so I turn around. I look at the long stairs & faint.

Myst

At school in our class,we play myst. Myst is a computer game. Myst is an island full of clues. There are heaps of things to do-the fun never ends! But again, where not just playing it for fun, its to improve our writing. We write what we're hearing, thinking, feeling and of course seeing! Here is some examples: As I turn all the symbols green, I think it will do nothing. The writing in this book reminds of my Grandma Carmies writing. Questions fill my head, I need answers! Oh! got to go, I'm playing Myst now!

The Big Race

Once apon a time there was a turtle called Robert and a sting ray called Ronny. Robert was slow on land but fast in the sea. But also no one knew for sure so one day they decided to hold a race between Robert and Ronny. Ronny is the farest sting ray in all of fish city! So it happened, they started at the starting line and... ready? set? GO! They were off. They had to start at the beach of fish city and go to the nearest island which was Red ray island. Ronny was off. But Robert didn't want to let out his secret or did he? Yes he did. He kicked his flippers because he didn't want to be teased anymore . No one could believe their eyes. Up ahead Ronny saw a burger shop and wanted a rest and also couldn't see a sign of Robert. Ronny stoped, grabbed a burber and had a rest on the chair outside and soon fell fast asleep. Robert came racing past only five minutes later! He made it and won! Everyone clapped nd cheered. Hooray! hooray!

What I Felt Like Sleeping Under The fishes

Sleeping under the fish was a fasinating sight. From my sleeping bag I could hear bubbles popping and foot steps from people walking on the move way. It was as if I was in my sleeping bag under the water with every thing floating away. There was two big plastic sharks next to me hung up on the roof and their teeth scared me a bit but I got to sleep. I saw two fish going over the arch of the tunnel and it seemed funny to me.

A Recount About The Seal Show

On Monday the 4th of August 4/5J, 4/5B and 4/5R all went on camp trip to Underwater World. When we went there we watched a seal named Portia perform. Portia balanced a coloured ball on her nose while she only balanced on her front flippers. I thought it was amazing and I think the rest of 4/5 enjoyed it as well. Seals eat fish and Portia was great at catching it from her high brown rock. Portia had other friends and they came to greet us at the end. At Underwater World there are eight seals in total and they are all different. I took a few photos and I hope they turn out great!

Spelling

In literacy block we do spelling wich is word wall. And we also do spelling budies.
Word wall is a whole lot of words that we learn and put up on the wall to remind us
how the words are spelt. Spelling budies are when you choose a partner and you test
each others words. oh! I forgot to tell you about our own words. we have five words each and test each other (thats how we learn words)
